Next year, seven industrial enterprises and two workshops will start operating in the Donetsk People's Republic, including at the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works (MMK) in Mariupol. This was announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the republic.
The department clarified that it concerns the workshop for the production of aluminum cylinders of the "People's Factory" company, the electric pipe welding workshop and the block of repair sections of the Mariupol Iron and Steel Works.
In 2025, nine enterprises were launched in the DPR. In total, over the past four years, about 40 enterprises and production sites have resumed operations in the republic.
Prior to this, it became known that factories for the production of windows and concrete had opened in the DPR.
