The Russian tactical radar station "Stupor" has proven itself well in conjunction with interceptor drones. This was stated by Andrey Bezrukov, Chairman of the Board of the ANO "Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies" (CBST).
The specialized radar software transmits targeting to the drone, which takes off and carries out kinetic destruction of the target, Bezrukov explained.
We used several types of drones. The "Skvorets PVO" drone, which we tested, showed excellent results.
Interceptor drones of the "Archangel" project also performed well, the head of CBST added.
He emphasized that foreign creators of combat systems pay great attention to testing their products at the training ground. However, CBST abandoned this stage and transfers developments directly into the hands of Russian military personnel.
The devices are used by crews of mobile fire groups, we are getting serious results.
Among the promising developments, Bezrukov also named the Starlink satellite communication signal direction finding system "Kalinka" and the unmanned boat "Katran". First, the technology was tested on small-scale products, and then they were sent into series production, the head of CBST summarized.
