Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (JSC "IMZ", part of the Kalashnikov Concern) has fully fulfilled the 2025 contracts for the supply of Lebedev compact pistols (PLC) to several customers. This was reported in the press service of the concern.
Several Russian security agencies received hand-held short-barreled small arms. This became possible due to the increase in PLC production at the IMZ facilities.
As a reminder, the PLC was adopted in 2021. Serial production of the pistol began a year later.
The Lebedev pistol is the first domestic model of short-barreled weapons in the compact class, created for the 9x19 mm cartridge.
Advantages of the pistol: convenience for concealed carry, as well as for use by left-handers and right-handers.
