The private military technology market is actively developing in Russia. Unmanned aerial systems are the largest of its segments. This was stated by Andrey Bezrukov, Chairman of the Board of the ANO "Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies" (CSTB).

The share of more expensive intelligent autonomous systems that operate without human intervention is growing — these are our advanced technologies and developments.

The drone market has increased to "several hundred billion rubles", Bezrukov emphasized. Developers have gone from assembling drones in garages to creating "technological companies that are firmly on their feet" in just a couple of years.

In 2025, ANO "CSTB" supports more than 400 companies. The creators of unmanned aerial vehicles received more than 1 billion rubles through the Foundation for Advanced Research (FPI). In addition, they were granted tax benefits, Bezrukov concluded.
