A carefully disguised prototype of the Lada Azimut was spotted on the territory of the AvtoVAZ Scientific and Technical Center. The car shown in the pictures belongs to the top configuration.
The car has stylish two-tone wheels and a panoramic roof. Currently, the plant has already produced 100 pre-production copies of this model.
Lada Azimut is positioned as a "B+" class crossover, with a wheelbase of 2675 mm and a ground clearance of 208 mm. The car was developed on a modernized Vesta platform.
At the initial stage, customers will have access to cars with two naturally aspirated engines: 1.6 liters with 120 hp with a six-speed manual transmission and 1.8 liters with 132 hp with a CVT. In the future, it is planned to add a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 150 hp, with a six-speed hydromechanical automatic transmission. Mass production of Lada Azimut is scheduled for the summer of 2026.
