JSC "Konstruktorskoye byuro mashinostroyeniya" (KBM) has started searching for a highly qualified operator-setter of 5–6 category CNC machines (milling group). The vacancy appeared on one of the job search sites.
The responsibilities include attaching the part to the machine, attaching the tool, loading control programs into the machine rack, and correcting programs on site if necessary.
Interestingly, KBM indicated the machines on which the specialist will have to work. Among them are Japanese models Kitamura 3XG, Kitamura 4XiF and Kitamura Mycenter HX400iF, Taiwanese Frejoth ACRA, as well as domestic ones — Sterlitamak 500VS, Uni.5 800 U and Uni.3 MV116.
Also of interest is the qualification requirement for the applicant — not lower than the 5th category. If an ordinary operator mainly presses the "Start" button and changes parts, then a 5–6 category setter is the "brain" of the work process.
