Chief of the General Staff of Belarus Muraveiko: Timing Depends on the Readiness of the Complex

The deployment time of the "Oreshnik" medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) takes only a few minutes. This was announced by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, Pavel Muraveiko.

According to him, the republic has already determined the areas for combat patrol of the complex. Currently, the coordination of calculations and binding to specific coordinates is underway.

Muraveiko added that the entry of "Oreshnik" on combat duty in Belarus is the process of bringing the complex to full combat readiness and maintaining it in this state to perform the assigned tasks.

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, noted that the "Oreshnik" complex was half produced in the republic. He clarified that the missile itself is Russian, but everything else is Belarusian.
