In Russia, from January to November 2025, the production of passenger cars decreased by 12.6%, to 591,000 units compared to the same period last year. This is evidenced by Rosstat data.
In November 2025, 54,100 passenger cars rolled off the assembly line, which is 34.1% less than in November 2024.
Production of freight transport for the period from January to November of this year amounted to 119,000 units. This is 32.8% lower than the figure for the 11 months of last year.
In addition, the production of buses weighing over 5 tons fell by 34.8% in January-November. Only 8,800 units were assembled.
A decrease was also recorded in the segment of buses weighing up to 5 tons. In 2025, only 13,100 units were produced. This figure is 29.4% lower than last year.
