The Propulsion Systems Center of Zvezdochka Corporation (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) has completed the manufacture and sent to the customer two propeller screws with a diameter of 2250 mm, made of stainless steel. The products have been accepted by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and are intended for the main contractor of propulsion systems — NPO "Vint".
These screws will be part of the ПУ225Ф type thrusters and will be installed on the аварийно-спасательном судне "Pevek" of the MPSV06M project. The assembly and completion of the vessel are carried out at the USC "Yantar" enterprise by order of the Federal State Institution "Department of the State заказчика" (FCI "DGZ"), followed by transfer to the Marine Rescue Service (Morspassluzhba).
The series of multifunctional аварийно-спасательных судов (МФАСС) MPSV06M is being developed within the framework of federal initiatives: "Northern Sea Route" and the Plan for the Development of the Northern Sea Route Infrastructure until 2035. The project was developed by the "Marine Engineering Bureau — СПб" taking into account the requirements of the Polar Code and the updated RS rules of 2021, which ensures the operation of vessels in Arctic conditions.
Technical characteristics of the vessel:
- Длина — 87,75 м
- Ширина — 19,1 м
- Осадка — 6,5 м
- Мощность главных электродвигателей — не менее 2 × 3500 кВт
- Скорость — до 15 узлов
- Экипаж — 22 человека
МФАСС of the MPSV06M project are designed to perform a wide range of tasks: patrolling морских районов, аварийно-спасательного duty in судоходства areas and промысловых zones, providing assistance to vessels in distress with evacuation and accommodation of victims, conducting underwater surveys at depths up to 1000 m, as well as extinguishing fires at морских and coastal facilities.
Features of the MPSV06M project compared to its predecessors (MPSV06) include increased ice strength (Icebreaker category), the ability to operate a cargo crane in storm conditions, and increased payload capacity of deck equipment. The vessel is capable of carrying out icebreaking operations in ports and припортовых zones with ice thickness up to 1.5 m, as well as performing international voyages without restrictions on the navigation area.
A helicopter площадка for receiving Ка-32 type helicopters is provided on the bow, which expands the capabilities of search and rescue operations.
Let us remind you that the lead vessel of the series — "Anadyr" — was laid down at the production facilities of PSZ "Yantar" on May 24, 2023. Previously built vessels of the previous version of the project — "Beringov Proliv" and "Murman" — are already part of the Morspassluzhba, and the third МФАСС, "Kerchenskiy Proliv", is under construction at the Amur Shipbuilding Plant.
