Aeroflot, together with Pulkovo Airport and the Center for Biometric Technologies, has successfully tested the new "Migom" service. It allows passengers to pass pre-flight checks using biometric data without having to present a passport. This was reported in the press service of the air carrier.
Testing of the service was conducted in December.
Passengers can pre-connect to the service on the Aeroflot website and use biometric data for: check-in at the airport, passage to the "clean" area of the airport, boarding the aircraft at the gate.
The system also offers a choice. Passengers can board with a passport or using biometrics.
The next step is to prepare for the launch of the service with the development of regulatory regulations by government agencies.
The service is expected to start operating in the second half of 2026.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Aeroflot increased its order for MC-21 to 200 aircraft.
