The anti-fraud system of the National Payment Card System (NSPK), the operator of the "Mir" payment system, identifies approximately 77,000 suspicious transactions daily. This was announced by Georgy Dorofeev, Deputy Director of the Operational and Technological Department of NSPK, at the organization's Technology Conference.
According to him, the monitoring system checks all authorization requests within "Mir" and, in real time, flags transactions with anomalies or signs of fraud, highlighting them with a risk indicator. This automation allows banks to respond quickly to threats and reduce financial losses.
In the first 11 months of 2025, thanks to the anti-fraud system, banks rejected transactions totaling more than 16.5 billion rubles. This is more than 2.5 times higher than the figures for the same period in 2024. Dorofeev emphasized that the increased efficiency of the system is ensured not only by the technical capabilities of NSPK and cooperation with banks, but also by a number of legislative initiatives aimed at strengthening the protection of the payment infrastructure.
Daily filtering of tens of thousands of transactions reduces the risks of financial fraud, protects citizens' funds, and increases confidence in the national payment system. For banks and market participants, this is a tool for optimizing security processes and minimizing losses.
