By the end of 2025, SSJ-100 regional jets will carry 2.4 million passengers as part of the "Rossiya" airline's shuttle program on the St. Petersburg - Moscow route. This figure represents almost half of the population of the Northern capital and demonstrates the key role of the domestic aircraft in providing domestic air transportation. Throughout 2024-2025, the regularity of their flights remains at 97%, which indicates the high reliability and readiness of the equipment for intensive operation.
Since the summer of 2024, SSJ-100 aircraft, manufactured by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec), have become the basis of the "Shuttle" program, providing high-frequency flights between the two largest cities in the country. To date, 159 SSJ-100 units of various modifications are in commercial operation.
As early as 2026, serial deliveries of a fully import-substituted version of the SSJ-100 will begin - with engines and onboard systems exclusively of Russian production.
