Tugboat "Filipp Irrapsky" Launched in Cherepovets

The vessel of the TSK.395M project has a capacity of 1300 hp.

The Cherepovets Shipbuilding Plant (ChSZ) has launched the tugboat "Filipp Irrapsky" of the TSK.395M project. This was reported by the press service of the "Cherepovets City Development Agency".

The vessel was named in honor of St. Filipp Irrapsky, who is closely connected with the history of the city.

"Filipp Irrapsky" became the seventh tugboat built at the Cherepovets Shipbuilding Plant, and the last one under a major contract with the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK).

Technical characteristics of the tugboat "Filipp Irrapsky" of the TSK.395M project:

  • Length — 22.3 m.
  • Width — 7.4 m.
  • Board height — 2.84 m.
  • Draft — 1.5 m.
  • Main engine power — 440 kW.
  • Class — RRR O 2.0 (ice 30).

"Filipp Irrapsky" can tow eight or more barges at a time due to its power of 1300 hp. To improve visibility when piloting long trains, the vessel is equipped with a lifting wheelhouse.
