The "UEC-Aviadvigatel" design bureau (part of the United Engine Corporation of Rostec) was the first among Russian suppliers to implement a full-service program for gas turbine units (GTU) throughout the entire life cycle with payment for the actually worked machine-hour.
UEC stated that this is the most progressive and economically efficient service model on the market, which takes the relationship with the customer to a fundamentally new level of partnership.
Thanks to this scheme, all maintenance, repair and resource work costs will become predictable. The customer pays only for the actual operating time of the unit, the corporation clarified.
In addition, the costs of equipment insurance and maintenance of warehouse stocks of expensive spare parts are significantly reduced, and guaranteed fixed terms for eliminating any malfunctions are indicated, UEC added.
