A disc brake mechanism assembly line has been opened at the KAMAZ Brake Systems plant (KTS, a subsidiary of PJSC KAMAZ) in Naberezhnye Chelny. This was reported by the manufacturer's press service.
The line was launched as part of a project to localize the production of disc brakes in the Russian Federation (initiated in 2023).
Specialists of PJSC KAMAZ and KTS designed and manufactured an automated assembly line for disc brake mechanisms of models 17.5", 19.5" and 22.5". The components will be installed on KamAZ K-5 generation trucks, the "Compass" family and trailer equipment. Production capacity - up to 90 thousand brake mechanisms per year.
