Key supplier to the plant announces reduction in working days from January of the new year

Dimitrovgrad Automotive Aggregate Plant (DAAZ), which is part of the OAT group and has become one of AvtoVAZ's main partners, has announced a reduction in the work week to three days. The new schedule will take effect on January 18, 2026, and employees have already received official notification.

DAAZ supplies AvtoVAZ with critical parts such as hoses, power windows, radiators, pumps, mirrors, and ignition switches. Reducing working days could significantly affect the volume of component production, creating risks for supply chains.

According to regional media, employees are being offered the opportunity to find employment at neighboring enterprises in the Zavolzhye industrial zone. The exact duration of the new regime remains unclear.
