Kurganmashzavod completes delivery of TM-140 all-terrain vehicles to the Arctic

All-terrain vehicles with a range of up to 870 km will ensure mobility in remote regions

Kurganmashzavod, part of the High-Precision Complexes holding of the Rostec State Corporation, completed the delivery of the final batch of TM-140 tracked amphibious all-terrain vehicles in 2025 under a state contract with the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. The new equipment will strengthen Arctic search and rescue teams and will be used in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, one of the most inaccessible regions of the Arctic.

ТМ-140 is an all-terrain vehicle with increased cross-country ability, capable of moving through deep snow, swampy terrain and overcoming water obstacles, including the waters of the Pechora River and the Barents Sea. Its design is specially adapted for operation in the extreme conditions of the Far North, where aviation is often powerless due to unpredictable weather.

The vehicle can be equipped with various specialized equipment: from a mobile power plant and a repair shop to a full-fledged rescue module.

The all-terrain vehicle's cabin is designed for seven people and provides comfort in severe frosts. The passenger module in the standard configuration accommodates up to 8 people, and in emergency mode - up to 30. The carrying capacity of the TM-140 is 4 tons. On a hard surface, it develops a speed of up to 45 km/h, afloat - up to 4 km/h. The normal range exceeds 500 km. The installation of additional fuel tanks increases the range to 870 km, which is critical for operations in remote areas.
