The KAMAZ Trade and Finance Company, together with the CDM Plant from Smolensk, officially launched the serial production of the updated combined road machine CDM ED445V1 on the chassis of the KAMAZ-6595 dump truck. The model, first presented at the COMvex 2025 exhibition, is already available for order and is positioned as a new generation solution for effective winter road maintenance.
Developed taking into account the harsh climatic conditions of Russia, the special equipment combines a reinforced chassis, extended functionality and increased comfort for the operator. The basis for the CDM ED445V1 is the K5 generation dump truck with a 483 hp diesel engine, capable of maintaining high performance even in abnormal frosts and deep snow.
Engineers paid special attention to safety: the car received an automatic speed limiting system when lifting the body - this eliminates overturning and protects the equipment from overloads. Driving the car has become easier thanks to the ergonomic, spacious cab and improved visibility.
For operation in the dark and in heavy snowfall, the CDM was equipped with LED headlights with heated glass, which not only prevents icing of the optics, but also increases the illumination of the working area by 50% compared to previous versions.
A key structural improvement was the introduction of a 9-ton front axle, which made it possible to increase the total load on the chassis by 20%. As a result, the machine is able to carry more attachments - from brushes and blades to sand spreaders and reagent tanks. This significantly expands the functionality of the equipment and makes it universal for year-round use.
