Sergey Chemezov, General Director of the Rostec State Corporation, stated that Russia has reached unprecedented volumes of ammunition production, especially tactical weapons, surpassing both its own historical indicators and the current capabilities of other countries.
The production volumes are incomparable to what they used to be. We supply aircraft, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, howitzers, electronic warfare systems, drones and much more in huge volumes. No country in the world, for example, produces as many shells and aerial bombs today.
It is noted that over the past three years, the country's defense industry has been completely rebuilt to a continuous cycle mode: new production lines have been introduced, factories have been modernized, cooperation ties with subcontractors have been expanded, and digital solutions have been implemented to accelerate logistics and quality control.
According to him, special attention is paid not only to the quantity, but also to the modernization of products: new generation guided aerial bombs, high-precision shells with guidance systems, as well as modular ammunition adapted for various types of ground and air platforms, have been put into mass production.
