In Miass, the "Ural Special Equipment Plant" has commissioned three new production workshops for the production of van special equipment, oilfield equipment and hydraulic cylinders. The new complex will allow producing up to 40 units of van equipment, 40 units of oilfield equipment and about 800 hydraulic cylinders annually.
The launch of new workshops is part of the company's production capacity expansion program and is aimed at increasing the level of technological independence. A particularly significant project is the line for the production of hydraulic cylinders - components that were previously often purchased abroad. Now the company will be able to fully meet its needs for this product, which strengthens the position of Russian mechanical engineering.
The "Ural Special Equipment Plant" has long been considered one of the key manufacturers of special equipment based on domestic chassis. The expansion of infrastructure will allow increasing the product line, optimizing production times and improving the quality of assembly. The company notes that the modernization has led to a reduction in work in progress, an increase in output per employee and an increase in overall efficiency.
