Foreign delegations became interested in the UTS-800 training aircraft at the Dubai Airshow 2025 international exhibition and praised Russia for the fact that all components in the machine are domestically produced. This was announced by Ekaterina Zgirovskaya, a representative of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA).
According to her, guests of the exposition were interested in flight performance characteristics, the installation of weapons, the ability to perform aerobatic maneuvers, an adaptive glass cockpit and ejection seats.
The greatest interest was aroused by the fact that everything in it is Russian, foreigners even praised Russia for the fact that we can do everything ourselves.
Zgirovskaya noted that one of the most pressing issues from potential customers was the status of the project - testing and mass production.
Some representatives of foreign industry compared the UTS-800 with analogues that are being developed in their countries.
The crew of the UTS-800 consists of two people located in tandem - a cadet in the front cockpit, an instructor in the second. The aircraft can also be piloted by only one pilot without installing cargo for centering.
