The arbitration court granted the claim for the recovery of 31 million rubles from the Kurgan Machine-Building Plant (Kurganmashzavod). The lawsuit was filed by Tulamashzavod in March 2025.
The meeting was held in a closed format, and the details of the case are not disclosed. The reason for the claim is improper performance of obligations under the supply contract. The Ministry of Defense of Russia acted as a third party in the case.
Currently, the case is being considered in the 18th Arbitration Court of Appeal. The next meeting is scheduled for December 22, 2025.
Recall that JSC "Kurganmashzavod" specializes in the production of BMP-3 and BMD-4M military combat vehicles. JSC "AK "Tulmashzavod" produces weapons and ammunition.
Meanwhile, questions about the quality of the BMD-4M armor have appeared online. The military had to develop additional protection for combat vehicles in an accelerated mode, military experts noted.
It also became known that in 2025, courts registered 46 lawsuits from St. Petersburg companies against the Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky (part of the Ak Bars corporation). The total amount of claims exceeded 546.9 million rubles, most of the cases have not yet been considered.
