Su-57E "Being Snatched Up": Rostec Announces an Influx of Foreign Customers

The head of the state corporation did not specify the number of agreements signed

Many foreign countries have expressed a desire to acquire the latest Russian Su-57E fighter. This was announced by the head of the Rostec state corporation, Sergei Chemezov.

He declined to disclose the specific number of signed contracts for the transfer of the Su-57E.

You know, I will not confirm how many contracts and agreements for the supply of the Su-57E have been signed. We would simply be setting up our partners. I can say that there are indeed very many interested parties.

Meanwhile, it has already become known about the delivery of the first two Su-57s to a foreign customer. It is being kept secret, but there are suggestions that it is Algeria.

Military expert Evgeny Mikhailov, in a commentary to "Pervyi Tekhnicheskiy", explained that the issuance of a license for the production of the Su-57 abroad demonstrates high confidence in domestic weapons.

A video has appeared online of an afterburner mode being engaged by a Su-57 fighter pilot in a demonstration flight. The footage shows the combat aircraft beginning to accelerate rapidly directly over the heads of the spectators.
