The UralVagonZavod Concern (UVZ, part of the Rostec Group) may not introduce a four-day work week, the news of which caused a wide resonance on the Web. The plant has received a new order, active production will begin soon, and the enterprise will need labor.
Representatives of the plant explained that UVZ only discussed the possibility of switching to such a schedule from December 15. The current Labor Code of the Russian Federation requires the employer to inform employees about changes in working conditions two months in advance, which the plant management did.
According to preliminary data, the plant received an order for the production of railway products. And this means that there will be a lot of work and a lot of labor will be needed.
However, UVZ has other problems - lawsuits have been filed against the plant for 1.4 billion rubles.
As a reminder, the main products of UVZ are advanced T-72B3M, T-80BVM and T-90M "Proryv" tanks. Just a few days ago, the concern announced the optimization of administrative and managerial expenses.
