The Rostec State Corporation has denied rumors of its involvement in the development and production of the S-80 drone, a video of whose breakdown has been actively circulating on social networks in recent days.
According to the press service, the mentioned drone is created and produced by a private company that is not related to Rostec.
The corporation emphasized that unmanned systems produced by Rostec enterprises — for example, the "KUB" family of loitering munitions and the "SKAT-350" complexes — perform their tasks correctly, accurately, and mercilessly.
According to experts, the cause of the S-80 drone breakdowns was assembly errors — in particular, incorrectly installed screws, which caused technical failures.
