On the eve of the opening of the international air show in Dubai, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec Group) organized a training flight of the fifth-generation Su-57 fighter. The aircraft has already arrived in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, where Hero of Russia, test pilot Sergei Bogdan, practiced a complex demonstration program, including virtuoso aerobatics.
Thanks to the integrated aerodynamic layout and engines with controlled thrust vector, the Su-57 is capable of performing maneuvers that seem to violate the laws of physics. During the training, the fighter demonstrated a "flat spin", spectacular turns along several axes in a limited space, and the famous "Pugachev's Cobra".
These maneuvers not only impress the audience at the air show, but also emphasize the combat advantages of the machine. The "Pugachev's Cobra", for example, allows you to confuse enemy Doppler radars, dropping their guidance.
Earlier www1.ru reported that UAC showed the armament bays on the fifth-generation Su-57 fighter for the first time.
