A unique homemade buggy has appeared for sale in Vladivostok, created by an enthusiast from improvised parts and units of different brands. The project is based on a 6-liter GM LS2 gasoline engine, working in tandem with an automatic transmission and a transfer case from Toyota.
To increase cross-country ability, the designer installed portal axles from Volvo, which gave the car an impressive ground clearance and outstanding off-road capabilities.
Despite its impressive characteristics, it is impossible to register the car for driving on public roads — the buggy is intended exclusively for off-road use and is presented as a technical project or an off-road toy.
The authors of the project note that the car was created not for speed, but for strength and reliability. With a considerable weight, the buggy demonstrates lightning-fast response to the throttle and is capable of overcoming almost any obstacle. According to the seller, the car attracted attention at off-road festivals and became a real "Frankenstein" of the best engineering solutions from different eras.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the pre-production Lada Niva Sport in the Silk Way version was shown in one of the Togliatti car dealerships.
