Russia creates net launcher against drones: catches "birds" at a range of 45 meters

Aiming range is lower — about 30 m

The Russian company "Orda-Pilot" has created a new complex with a video system with machine vision and a net throwing device. It is designed to protect military and civilian equipment from drones.

The developers said that the video system monitors a certain sector and identifies aerial targets.

Then the net throwing device, upon detecting a drone, turns towards the potential aggressor and fires a net.

The company clarified that the maximum firing range with a net is 45 m, but the aiming range is even less — about 30 m.

The serial production of the net launcher is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian army received new "Kornets" and "Krasnopol-M2".
