Russia returns shipbuilding: a new small vessel plant worth 300 million rubles was launched in the Nizhny Novgorod region

The RPR shipyard has launched a production site for the manufacture and maintenance of small-tonnage and small vessels in the working village of Gidrotorf, Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the Regional Development Corporation.

Investments in the project amounted to 300 million rubles. The new enterprise will be able to produce up to 30 types of displacement amphibious vessels, as well as more than 10 types of boats used in preventive measures and rescue operations at offshore oil production facilities.

According to Dmitry Novoselov, director of the shipyard, the new site allows not only to produce ships of various types, but also to develop new solutions in the field of shipbuilding.

We received the necessary support from the regional government and the Development Corporation, and we have already planned further expansion of production facilities.

The RPR shipyard designs and builds small boats of various modifications, aluminum motor boats, as well as catamarans and river trams for walks.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Vidson, a developer of auxiliary fleet vessels in modular design, will create its own production facility on the territory of the Kulibin special economic zone in Dzerzhinsk.
