АЭС «Аккую» получила ключевое оборудование для автоматизации энергоблока №1

Автоматизированная система обеспечивает координацию всех систем блока

The delivery of the automated process control system (APCS) equipment for power unit No. 1 has been completed at the construction site of the first Turkish nuclear power plant, Akkuyu NPP. The delivery, carried out by the "Rosatom" State Corporation division - JSC "Rosatom Automated Control Systems" (RASU), includes 42,000 units of equipment with a total weight of 555 tons.

APCS of Akkuyu NPP

The APCS is responsible for monitoring and coordinating all the main technological processes of the plant: from reactor parameters to the operation of auxiliary systems.

Technological processes at a nuclear power plant require coordinated operation of dozens of systems and units. A high degree of automation allows a small number of personnel to effectively manage the plant.

The modern unit with a VVER-1200 reactor is equipped with the latest APCS components, developed on the basis of many years of experience in the Russian nuclear industry, which ensures high operational safety.

The delivery set includes control cabinets, controllers, computing modules and auxiliary elements necessary for the functioning of reactor control and protection systems. Currently, specialists are completing the installation and adjustment of equipment, as well as its integration with the unit's infrastructure, which will be a key stage before the start of the cold and hot run-in of the reactor plant - testing that simulates the operating conditions of the plant.

The automated control system is actually the "brain" of the power unit. It ensures coordination of all systems, minimizing the risk of human error and increasing operational efficiency. Similar systems have been used at Russian nuclear power plants for a long time.
