Hundreds of the newest microchips from the Netherlands found in Russian missiles

About half of the components were produced less than a year ago

Hundreds of microchips manufactured in the Netherlands were found in the wreckage of Russian missiles and drones. This was reported by the local publication RTL Nieuws.

In total, journalists of the publication analyzed about five thousand electronic components found in the wreckage of Russian drones, missiles and other weapons systems.

According to the source, 379 microchips turned out to be from the Netherlands, which is 7.3% of all the elements found.

Without these components, weapons cannot fly, aim or strike.

Of the nearly 300 components where the date of manufacture could be determined, 44% were produced after the beginning of February 2022, and some less than a year ago.
