Training flights of the ZALA T-16 drone were conducted at the Vostochny Cosmodrome. This was reported by the manufacturer's press service.
The ZALA T-16 fixed-wing unmanned aerial system (UAS), equipped with optical and thermal imaging equipment, allows for remote inspection of vast and hard-to-reach areas at any time of the day. According to operators, the time to bring the system into operation does not exceed 15 minutes.
ZALA T-16 spent more than four hours in the air. The fixed-wing UAS moved away from the launch point to a distance of over 75 km.
Specialists from the space center worked out tasks for controlling the ZALA T-16 UAS, which are used to monitor the fall zones of separating parts of launch vehicles.
During the training, the software of the unmanned system was tested in different conditions.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that ZALA modernized the T-20 drone.
