The Rostec State Corporation presented a set of innovative solutions for airlines and airports at the Russia-Venezuela Strategic Partners business forum in Venezuela.
The ecosystem includes the Russian Leonardo booking system, the KUPoL aircraft maintenance and airworthiness management platform, and the Galaktika air navigation complex.
The KUPoL system, created with the participation of RT-Project Technologies, accumulates data on the life cycle of aircraft - from production to disposal. The solution automates the processes of maintaining airworthiness, simplifies repair planning and provides access to engineering information in a single digital environment, including visualization in the form of 3D models.
The Russian Leonardo booking system, developed by Rostec in conjunction with Sirena-Travel, already serves the key business processes of more than 60 airlines and ensures the operation of flights for 100 million passengers per year. The first competence center in Latin America for the implementation of Leonardo will be created on the basis of the Venezuelan airline Conviasa.
The Galaktika air traffic control complex, presented by Azimuth, provides the collection and processing of data on the air situation, reduces the load on air traffic controllers and improves flight safety. The system has been implemented in Russia and a number of foreign countries, including Armenia, Germany, South Korea and Sri Lanka, and has recently been tested at the new Sukhumi airport.
The Russia-Venezuela Forum was held in Caracas on October 28–29 and brought together representatives of the authorities and businesses of the two countries, focused on the development of joint high-tech projects.
