The Russian-Algerian military-technical "express" continues to demonstrate high activity. In recent weeks, observers have noted several characteristic flights between the two countries.
An Algerian military transport aircraft Il-76TD arrived in Moscow via Turkish airspace and returned shortly thereafter. Following it, another Il-76TD, this time belonging to Aviacon Zitotrans, known for its connection with Russian state structures, headed to Russia.
The aircraft's route ran from Algeria to Yekaterinburg.
Of additional interest is the fact that Russian General Sergei Surovikin is currently in Algeria, which adds context to what is happening.
Although close military-technical cooperation between the countries has long been no secret, the increased flights may indicate a new phase of cooperation or the implementation of the next agreed programs. Experts note that the logistical dynamics indicate the continuation and development of the strategic partnership between Moscow and Algeria.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Armenia will purchase Russian Su-30MKI fighters from India for $3 billion.
