The latest drone detection systems called "Mars" have begun to arrive en masse in the Russian army. These devices are capable of tracking the activity of digital video links (video transmission devices) and drone control panels. This was announced by Sergei Shandobyl, development director of 3mx.
The military has already been supplied with several thousand units.
The new product, developed by the company, is integrated into the defense system of the Russian military, especially in the border areas, and works in conjunction with Bulat detectors.
"Mars," according to the developers, identifies drone carriers, which makes it possible to further conduct attacking FPV drones using the Bulat detector system.
The Mars portable detector is a specialized electronic intelligence device designed to detect modern digital communication channels of unmanned aerial vehicles. The detection range is up to 1.5 kilometers, the battery life is up to 6.5 hours.
Earlier www1.ru reported that tests of the Arbalet FPV drone with an AKS-74U assault rifle were shown on video.
