The Uralvagonzavod concern (UVZ, part of the Rostec Group) has summed up the results of a five-year program of rationalization activities at the enterprise. During this time, the plant's engineers implemented 752 innovations, with a total economic effect of 243 million rubles.
In total, more than a thousand UVZ employees took part in the rationalization movement. Their developments helped to optimize costs, improve production processes and increase the reliability of manufactured equipment — from civilian products to the latest T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks.
In 2024 alone, 185 rationalization proposals were received from Uralvagonzavod employees. 100 of them were implemented in production, and the actual economic effect amounted to almost 50 million rubles.
The press service added that Uralvagonzavod owns a list of more than 40 trademarks, and the number of license agreements has reached 90.
As a reminder, the flagship product of the concern is the latest T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks.
Against this background, news emerged that the amount of lawsuits filed by the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works against UVZ reached 1.2 billion rubles. The litigation has been going on for many years, and the court has not made a decision.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Uralvagonzavod simulated a battle between the T-90M "Breakthrough" and the Abrams and Leopard.
