A major supplier of rolled metal products, PJSC "Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works" (MMK), has filed new lawsuits against JSC "Scientific and Production Corporation "Uralvagonzavod" (UVZ, part of the Rostec Group). The amount of claims has increased to 1.2 billion rubles.

MMK has filed two new lawsuits from the metallurgical giant against the defense enterprise in the Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region. In the first lawsuit, the claims were estimated at 143 million rubles, and in the second, at about 70 million rubles.

Thus, the total amount of MMK's claims against the concern, taking into account previous applications, reached 1.2 billion rubles. It is noted that the court has not yet made decisions on the cases.

In 2022, UVZ reached a settlement agreement with MMK due to a debt of 886 million rubles. Now, UVZ's debt has once again exceeded this mark.

Two weeks ago, "Uralvagonzavod" introduced a four-day work week for employees engaged in civilian production due to a decrease in demand for products. It is worth recalling that the flagship product of the concern is the latest T-90M "Proryv" tanks.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that "Uralvagonzavod" simulated a battle between the T-90M "Proryv" and Abrams and Leopard tanks.
