The oil company "Tatneft" has filed a new lawsuit against the aircraft manufacturing company PJSC "Tupolev" (part of Rostec) in the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan. The application was registered on October 9.
The documents show that "Tatneft" is demanding another 11.7 billion rubles from "Tupolev". The oil companies cite non-fulfillment of obligations under contract agreements as grounds.
It should be reminded that this is not the first legal battle between the companies even in 2025. In July, the court ordered "Tupolev" to pay "Tatneft" 5.6 billion rubles of unjust enrichment, 556 million rubles of penalty, and 8 million rubles of state duty in the case of non-delivery of Tu-214 aircraft for the airline "UVT Aero".
In court, representatives of "Tupolev" stated that such a lawsuit threatens the company with bankruptcy. They reminded that the profitability of the state defense order is only 4%.
"Tupolev" is the manufacturer of Tu-160 strategic missile carriers, the parent enterprise of the special and strategic aviation division of the UAC.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia unveiled a new UAV "Axis-25-R": two engines and a range of up to 300 km.
