A photograph of a Russian-made Su-30MKI fighter with Israeli Rampage air-to-surface ballistic missiles has appeared online. The modernized combat aircraft is in service with the Indian Air Force (IAF).
The total weight of the Rampage is 570 kg, and the range is up to 250 km with a mid-trajectory speed of up to 400 m/s. Similar missiles are equipped on F-16C, F-15U, F/A-18E/F, Eurofighter Typhoon, IAI Kfir, and SEPECAT Jaguar fighters, according to data from open sources.
The multi-role Su-30MKI fighters in India are produced under Russian license at the state corporation Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. They form the basis of the republic's front-line aviation.
The universal domestic platform often becomes a testing ground for different types of weapons. For example, recently footage of the Su-30MKI with the latest Indian Astra air-to-air missile with a range of 100 km appeared. In addition, India has developed its own aerial bomb with UMPC for the fighter.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the new fiber-optic FPV drone "Zanoza" developed by the "Groza" project hits 80% of targets.
