The heavy nuclear-powered missile cruiser (TARKR) "Admiral Nakhimov" of Project 1144.2 has already gone to sea for factory sea trials. A diagram of the armament placement on the domestic warship has appeared online.
Thus, the "Nakhimov" can carry 10 universal shipborne firing complexes (UVPU) 3S14 for "surface-to-surface" class missiles – "Caliber", "Zircon", and "Onyx".
The cruiser's air defense is provided by 12 launchers of the shipborne anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) S-300FM "Fort-M". Six anti-aircraft missile artillery complexes (ZRAK) 3M87-1F "Pantsir-M" are also installed on board.
The 130-mm artillery system A-192M "Armat" is also responsible for the firepower.
The "Admiral Nakhimov" in August went to the White Sea for the first stage of factory sea trials. The tests will continue for several more months in the Barents Sea.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the new North Korean Hwasong-11Ma system suspiciously resembles the Iskander-M.
