A presumably new medium-range anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) "Buk-MB3K" of Belarusian production was caught on camera in Azerbaijan. There has been no official information about the start of deliveries of the systems.
The complex is a further development of the Buk SAM family. The key difference is the new 9M318 anti-aircraft guided missile, which significantly increases the combat capabilities of the crew.
The missile has an increased target engagement range of up to 70 km and is equipped with an active radar homing head (ARLGSN).
It is known from open sources that the modernized "Buk-MB3K" is capable of operating equally effectively in conditions of active electronic and fire counteraction.
The maximum detection range for targets of the "fighter" type is up to 130 km. The systems are developed by the Belarusian enterprise NPOOO "OKB TSP".
Earlier www1.ru reported that a Russian swarm of drones will be controlled from a group of satellites.
