FAS Believes New Wildberries and Ozon Rules Require Revision

The companies promised to refine the tools for sellers after attention from the regulator

Some rules introduced on the Wildberries and Ozon platforms require revision, according to the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).

This conclusion was reached by members of the Expert Council on the Development of Competition in the Field of Information Technology during a meeting held at the FAS site.

At the meeting, experts discussed the principles of marketplace operation. In particular, Wildberries presented new tools, such as the product balance index and "Attractive Price," which were launched in August 2025. The procedure for providing additional services through the "Tariff Constructor" tool was also considered.

Following the meeting, Wildberries promised to refine the mechanics in the interests of sellers. The company emphasized that they monitor feedback from them and do not ignore comments.

As for Ozon, experts analyzed measures such as the new rules for processing returns from October 1, 2025, and the procedure for removing goods from the platform.

We pay close attention to the requirements of the FAS and are studying the regulator's appeal. We will continue the dialogue to resolve contentious issues and maintain transparent market conditions.

The company decided to simplify the process of removing goods after return. Now, an application can be submitted immediately after the goods arrive at the warehouse. The new function will not change the logistics cost for sellers.
