Many innovative industries have opened in Russia over the past year. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the plenary session of the Innoprom. Belarus exhibition in Minsk.
The Prime Minister gave a number of examples. The world's largest particleboard production line has been launched in the Kaluga Region, and a unique production of silica gels in demand in industry has begun operating in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Serial production of industrial robots capable of working with heavy loads has started in the Urals. According to Mishustin, "their production is based on the principle: a robot makes a robot."
The head of the Cabinet also announced the opening of an electronics factory in the Rostov Region and the launch of a new workshop for machine-building products for the mining and metallurgical industry. Among the achievements, he cited successful tests of a domestic hybrid electric locomotive, which is expected to increase the environmental friendliness of railway transportation.
The Prime Minister paid special attention to pharmaceuticals. According to him, Russian scientists have created the first original drug for gene therapy of hemophilia. Drugs against blood cancer and other oncological diseases are in the final stages of development. Mishustin stressed that this is only part of new projects demonstrating the technological development of the country.
