Deliveries of the updated mid-size crossover Belgee X70 have started in Russia. In particular, the new product has already appeared in the Pragmatika Vasileostrovsky car dealership in St. Petersburg, as reported by the company.
Currently, only two basic configurations of the new car are available for order: Active 2WD and Style 2WD. The full list of available configurations will be revealed later. However, based on an analysis of sales of the previous Belgee X70 model, it is possible to predict high demand for front-wheel drive versions with a 6-speed automatic transmission, as well as for configurations with an expanded set of options.
The updated Belgee X70 can be distinguished by a new radiator grille design with large vertical slats and a new additional body color called Starnight Blue. Also among the innovations is an improved multimedia system with a 12.3-inch touch screen, which has become more productive and has acquired the function of integrating a smartphone on the iOS platform.
At the start of sales, the update will be available for front-wheel drive crossovers in Active and Style trim levels. As a power unit, as before, there will be a 1.5-liter engine with turbocharging and direct injection with a capacity of 150 hp.
