Космонавты Роскосмоса тренируются к выходу в открытый космос в новых скафандрах «Орлан-МКС» №7

Процедуры отрабатываются на тренажере «Выход-2»

Roscosmos reports on the preparation of cosmonauts for work in outer space on the International Space Station (ISS). The crew is working on the Vykod-2 simulator.

The new Orlan-MKS No. 7 spacesuit has arrived at the ISS. During training, cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev practice both standard procedures and emergency situations. Possible failures include leaks in hatches, compartments and the spacesuit itself, failure of fans and pumps, as well as interruptions in the radio communication system.

The crew is practicing preparing spacesuits for spacewalking, controlling airlock equipment, and ensuring safe exit from the docking compartment of the Russian segment of the ISS. Such rehearsals allow cosmonauts to hone their skills and minimize risks during real work outside the station.

Training on Earth in a full spacesuit allows you to safely train critical actions and respond to emergency situations. This is a key stage in preparing for spacewalks, ensuring crew safety and the successful completion of scientific and technical tasks in orbit.
