JSC "Minsk Gear Plant" (MZSH, part of "MTZ-HOLDING") has put into operation 45 new machines, 20 of which are gear grinding machines, the rest are gear milling machines. The equipment has been updated by a third, said Leonid Tarabonda, chief technologist of the enterprise.
Thanks to modernization, technological chains have been reduced by 30-40%, the cost has decreased, and the quality of products has improved.
MZSH plans to install another 40 gear milling machines. 14 of them have already been delivered to the plant, the equipment is at various stages of installation and commissioning.
Currently, the plant in Minsk produces about 2 million gears per year. The company's management intends to increase this figure by 2 times.
