Production of fully domestic fittings for special equipment launched in Tatarstan

The new capacities of the "Kamaflex" plant allow to produce up to 1 million units of products annually

The company "Kamaflex" has launched the production of domestic high-pressure fitting connections with cutting rings for hydraulic systems of special equipment. The production is located in Naberezhnye Chelny, in Tatarstan. The launch was supported by the Federal Industrial Development Fund (FRF), which provided a concessional loan of 127 million rubles.

The new capacities allow to produce up to 1 million units of products annually, including elbows, tees, fittings and banjo adapters. The products are used in excavators, cranes, loaders, tractors, drilling machines, as well as in engines and gearboxes of trucks and special equipment. The level of product localization is 100% - only Russian materials are used.

Previously, cutting rings for such connections were not produced in Russia, and the market depended on supplies from Europe, the USA and China. "Kamaflex" has developed its own technology for manufacturing rings, including an original design with the geometry of cutting edges to ensure tightness. The installation of these fittings does not require welding, which reduces the risk of scale entering the pipelines.

The own design bureau develops connections for the specific needs of customers. In addition, the plant introduced chemical-thermal treatment with low-temperature nitrocarburizing, which increases the hardness and wear resistance of products, reducing the coefficient of friction by 1.5–5 times.

Among the customers are other enterprises supported by the FRF, such as "Petersburg Tractor Plant", "Rostselmash", "Remdiesel" and "RIAT". Part of the products is supplied to the secondary market for mechanical engineering, construction, agriculture, metallurgy and the oil and gas sector. After reaching full capacity, the company plans to increase its share in the Russian market from 8% to 12%, as well as export products to Belarus.
