FSUE "Rosmorport" has announced an electronic auction for the performance of work on the repair of the electrical part of the diesel-electric icebreaker "Tor". The initial contract price is 27.98 million rubles, as indicated in the materials of the unified information system in the field of procurement.
Applications for participation are accepted until September 26, 2025, and the results of the auction will be summed up on September 29 of the same year. The repair must be completed no later than October 31, 2025. The work will cover the main propulsion engines, main and auxiliary generators, electric motors, as well as other electrical equipment. All operations will take place at the vessel's parking place in Arkhangelsk.
The icebreaker "Tor" of Project 374 has a length of 84.5 m, a width of 21.2 m, a board height of 9.5 m, a maximum draft of 6.55 m and a dock weight of 4278.4 tons. The vessel is used for icebreaking in Arctic waters.
