The list of Russian websites and online services that will remain available during mobile network restrictions will be updated weekly. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maksut Shadayev, at the Kazan Digital Week forum.
According to the minister, the so-called "whitelists" are formed based on the rating of the most popular Internet resources in the country. "The list will be updated weekly," Shadayev noted.
The latest published version of the list includes "Gosuslugi", social networks "VKontakte" and "Odnoklassniki", Mail.ru, RuTube, "Yandex" services, Ozon, Wildberries, "Avito", "Zen", Max online cinema, the website of the "Mir" payment system, as well as the official websites of the government, the presidential administration and the federal platform for remote electronic voting. In addition, personal accounts of MTS, "Beeline", "Megafon", "Rostelecom" and Tele2 operators will remain available.
As clarified by the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the expansion of the "whitelist" will take place in stages. At the next stage, it will include the websites of the largest media outlets, banks, pharmacies, as well as the resources of the State Duma, the Federation Council, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
