Crews from the tactical group of the Northern Fleet, based on Alexandra Land Island of the Franz Josef Land archipelago, launched a missile strike with Onyx cruise missiles on a sea target simulating a mock enemy naval group.
The department added that the Bastion coastal missile systems with Onyx missiles allow creating maneuver restriction zones in the Arctic and ensuring coastal protection stretching over 600 kilometers. In addition, the deployment of the BRC to combat positions takes only a few minutes.
